NAAJA is seeking an Adult Team Co-ordinator to lead a team of Intensive Case Managers who work specifically with adult inmates, some of whom are convicted of domestic and family violence related offences and applying for parole.

The Adult Team Co-ordinator works effectively with a range of stakeholders and develops professional meaningful relationships with Aboriginal people and their families.

Qualifications in social work or a related discipline will be an advantage, as is experience in managing people and projects.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a passion for and expertise in case management;
  • demonstrated experience in providing supervision to case managers in a casework context, including the ability to coach and mentor a diverse range of staff;
  • outstanding interpersonal skills; and
  • a commitment to social justice and innovation in program development.

The position offers attractive employment benefits including:

  • Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 – 4:30 Monday to Friday
  • Salary/Wages: PSO 6.1 $102,480
