Direct your support:
100% of money you donate will go directly to helping vulnerable clients who fall through the cracks of existing support services. This might be paying for a night’s accommodation so clients can get bail, help with transport for someone to get home, a pre-paid card to make sure someone doesn’t go hungry while waiting for other services to kick in, a taxi voucher or clothes to attend court.
Aboriginal Territorians are negatively impacted by bad laws. NAAJA identifies sections of legislation that badly impact Aboriginal people, and we look to challenge these laws. This often involves multiple appeals up to the High Court, and can span several years of legal work. A single successful case, however, can positively impact thousands of people and reshape our justice system.
100% of funds allocated to where it’s most needed, with a focus on front-line work and work that is chronically under-funded. This might help us with a crucial piece of law-reform, a new Community Legal Education resource or activity, or a boost to our community engagement with communities who are disengaged and frustrated with legal processes.
NAAJA staff are on the front lines of supporting some of the most vulnerable people on this continent. We travel huge distances, work in challenging and stressful conditions and experience a lot of vicarious trauma. This means that burn-out rates can be high. 100% of the money you donate here will go towards supporting staff to keep them healthy and at their best.

Are Dontations Tax Deductible?
The North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency is a registered not-for-profit organisation and deductible gift recipient. All donations of $2 and over are tax-deductible.
Is my Donation Secure?
Yes. Keeping your information safe and confidential is very important to NAAJA. We use secure technology to protect your details when you donate online, and we will never sell, trade or share your personal information with others. We also will not send donor mailings on behalf of other organisations.
Do I get a Receipt?
Once you donate online, NAAJA will send your receipt to the email address you provide on the donation form. If you choose a recurring donation, you will receive a receipt each time your donation is processed.
Please keep a copy of your receipt for your records and tax purposes.
How else can I support NAAJA?
There are many ways to support NAAJA’s work. In addition to making a one-off or regular donation online, you can also leave a gift in your Will, ask about workplace giving or matched donations through your employer, or help raise funds by sharing NAAJA’s work with your networks.
