Research

NAAJA and CAALAS recently started a joint research project to look at Aboriginal justice issues and to inform our advocacy work.
We are currently researching the new police stations built as part the NTER (the Intervention).

You can request a copy of the final report or a presentation when it is available.

We have currently applied for additional funding to continue the research program to look at policing other Aboriginal living areas, including the larger communities and town camps, and to develop a deeper understanding of Aboriginal views on crime.

We are interested in exploring other research opportunities in Aboriginal justice issues and would like to hear from people who wish to collaborate with us in this area.
